My mom’s out of surgery and in the recovery room. Surgeon said it went perfect from what they can tell and I should be able to see her in an hour. :DDD

An old man just rolled past me in his bed on the way to surgery. He waved at me and said, “Hello, blue person!” then looked at Mom and said, “Hello, purple person!”

surprise, there’s wifi in the part of the hospital we’re in! I probably won’t use it much tho because I need to save my phone battery for music. I can check my messages every little while at least.

my mom has surgery at 2-3pm’ish today (the 22nd) for about two hours on her spine where they’re going to melonball out some of her bulging disc in her lower back
we have to be in Hollywood at 9am for some reason, so that means we have to leave here around 7am
i’m either going to be bored until the surgery or fretting during it so if anyone (that i know, obviously) wants to text me to keep me for going mad, message me and i’ll try to get you my number before i leave. the hospital doesn’t have free wifi, so i probably won’t be able to get any messages from tumblr after i leave the house
and uh, send my mom good thoughts or prayers or whatever you believe in if that’s cool? we just really need this to go okay and
